Information we Collect: In the course of our relationship with you, we collect information from a variety of sources.  We collect this information in order to carry out our business functions and assist you in providing the highest quality of service to you.  This information may be provided from an application or other forms as part of the supporting documentation submitted or obtained in the insurance underwriting or from third parties, including agents, employers, other insurance brokers or insurance companies, health care professionals, and consumer reporting agencies or public sources.  We may obtain information about your business occupation, your property, health, credit and claim history, income, as well as personal data such as names, addresses, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, telephone numbers and email addresses.
Information We Disclose to Third Parties:   In the course of our normal business activities, we may disclose collected information to affiliates and non-affiliated entities, as we may deem necessary.  These activities include the marketing, quoting, and servicing of your insurance needs and the performance of other essential functions of our business.  Affiliated entities are within The Signature Group of Companies.  Non-affiliated entities are those outside of The Signature Group of Companies with whom we also conduct our activities including insurance companies, wholesalers, other brokers, and agents, claims administrators and other financial services or marketing firms.  We Endeavour to choose non-affiliated companies with similar standards to ours regarding the quality of their work and the protection of private information.  We never sell any private information to other companies for any reason.  We do not disclose any nonpublic private information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted by law.
Practices Regarding Protection of Information:   Our employees are trained to understand the importance of confidentiality and are required to adhere to our privacy policies and procedures.  We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products and services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your nonpublic information.
Our Policy is our Pledge:  During the course of our business relationship, we will continue to send annual statements or amendments similar to this one describing our privacy policy.  We pledge to you that the information you have provided us to obtain appropriate insurance coverage will be used for just that purpose and that purpose only.
